Love for Fundamental Questions, Death on the Tracks, Roses for Choices February 17, 2024
In a remote corner of Kagoshima, there lay two diverging tracks.
On one track, a mother immobilized,
On the other, a lover unconscious,
At the fork, if the switch is thrown,
The lover could be saved... but the mother...
If the switch remains as is...
The mother could be saved... but the lover...
I reminisced about my 15-year-old self pondering the meaning of life...
I delved into Freud's dream analysis.
I sacrificed my exams.
Endlessly in my diary.
Three years have passed, and the answer is...
There is no answer, yet that is the answer.
No answer, but to do what I love...
To follow my whims. With sensibility. Like a cat.
The meaning of life might be realized much later.
There might never be an absolute answer.
Likely, there exist several relative answers...
Clack, clack, clack, clack,
Clack, clack, clack, clack,
Clack, clack, clack, clack,
Clack, clack, clack, clack...
